Construction Site Manager

Candidates will expected to do/have the following attributes:

  • Manage small high-specification construction sites on a day-to-basis, multiple depending on size/number of properties and stage of works.

  • Organise Labour and materials.

  • Plan for ongoing and up-coming works

  • Liaise with and be the intermediary for our site, subcontract, purchasing and architectural teams ensuring sites run productively.

  • Be controlled under pressure and potential to be an assertive manager

  • Provide knowledgeable, constructive insight

  • Use computers regularly; email, word processing, other software.

  • Be present on site to ensure the smooth running of sites; communication, support staff, inductions, health and safety, enable client viewings via Estate Agents and client support etc. as a representative of R E Pearce Properties Ltd.

  • Be willing and able to get involved with aspects of tasks to ensure site tasks are completed.

  • Periodic meetings with Management and departments for updates and progress.

  • Ensure the correct construction of homes.

  • Enforcement of site Health & Safety rules and working practices.

  • Must be trained to necessary standards and qualifications.

  • Full drivers license.

 

The successful candidate will benefit from the following:

  • 45 hours per week, 7.30am - 5pm Monday - Friday

Trainee Site Manager- Construction

Full time, permanent position with advancement opportunity, will suit candidates who have the following attributes:

  • Must have knowledge of and been working within the construction industry/supply chain.

  • Be controlled under pressure and potential to be an assertive manager.

  • Computer literacy; word processing, emails, spreadsheets.

  • Full drivers license.

  • Potential for managing and able to work with others.

  • Unhoned skills which can be developed.

  • Good organisational skills, proactive attitude, desire to learn and succeed.

  • Ability to make/receive calls and emails competently as a company representative.

  • Good attention to detail with a desire to run a tidy and productive site.

  • Cannot be scared to get their hands dirty on site when required to get a job completed and flexible to carry out other tasks. Role will take on a mixture of office and site time.

  • Periodic meetings with Management and departments for updates and progress.

  • Ensure the correct construction of homes.

  • Enforcement of site Health & Safety rules.

  • Tuition, mentoring and support from a experienced Project Director.

  • 45 hours per week, 7.30am - 5pm Monday - Friday

  • 28 days holiday (including 8 bank holidays).
